Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston is made of four places- Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, North Market, and South Market.

They are all located around a busy cobblestone promenade with lots of street entertainment and shopping in Boston.

Faneuil Hall Marketplace area is a fun place to walk around, shop, eat, and explore Boston.


Quincy Market, designed in a Greek Revival Style Building and the North Market, and South Market is a hub for shopping, restaurants, cafes, and a huge food court. 

Be warned this place is busy, especially in the summer and on weekends.


Faneuil Hall, nicknamed, "The Cradle of Liberty." It is a National historic site on the Freedom Trail and marketplace.

Faneuil Hall is referred to as the "Cradle of Liberty" because of its use during the American Revolution. 

Later it was used by abolitionists, suffragists, labor unionists to hold conventions, banquets, and orations in the Great Hall.

It was also used for John F. Kennedy's last campaign speech during the 1960 presidential race.


Admission and Ranger Talks are free at Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston.  

The Visitor Center is open usually from 9 AM to 6 PM

The Great Hall is open from 12 PM to 5 PM
