Boston - Little Italy - Travel Guide for Visitors

Little Italy is known for its authentic Italian restaurants, pastry shops (cannoli), cafes, and historic sites in Boston.

During the summer weekends, there is usually some festival going on in Little Italy Boston.

This Little Italy in Boston is a dynamic and quaint neighborhood, nestled along narrow cobblestone-lined streets and a definite must-do.

Like Italian coffee? Stop by Polcari's Coffee on Salem St.  This shop in Boston Little Italy is fun to look around.

On Hanover street is the very busy and popular Galleria Umberto's, on Hanover St. (closed in July), which serves delicious Sicilian pizza.

Go early - once the pizza is gone, the doors close!

Finish off your pizza with my favorite treat in Boston, Cannoli's!
Try Mike's Pastry or Modern Pastry on Hanover St. or Maria's Pastry on Cross St.

So many flavors and the shells are so crisp and freshly made….yum!

To walk off your food, make sure to see the historical sites in and around Little Italy on the Freedom Trail like:

The Paul Revere Statue is located in the Paul Revere Mall or The Prado, as Italian immigrants named it
