The Dubai Mall, located in Downtown Dubai, is the 2nd largest mall in the world.

Dubai Aquarium, located at the ground level of the Dubai Mall, has a ten million-liter Salt-water tank.

This Dubai Aquarium tank tunnel showcases sharks and stingrays, including Tiger sharks.

Dubai Ice Rink, located in Dubai mall, offers an Olympic-size ice rink for ice skating and other ice sports.

The Dubai Fountain in Lake Burj Khalifa provides a beautiful choreographed water fountain. Dubai Fountain is located just outside the Dubai mall entrance.

By Dubai METRO to Dubai Mall in Dubai:

- Take the Dubai Metro Red line to Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa station

- Exit at Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa station and follow the sign to Dubai Mall

Dubai Hop-on Hop-off Bus to Dubai Mall:

Big Bus and City Sightseeing offers a Hop-on Hop-off tour Bus with a main stop at the Dubai Mall.

Get down at Dubai Mall.  This Bus drops you off at the parking level. 

Big Bus Dubai Red Route or City Tour and Beach Tower Green Route to Mall of Emirates starts from Dubai Mall.

Big Bus Dubai from 8:50AM to 6PM (Daily) from the Dubai Mall.

Dubai City Sightseeing Bus also runs its buses from 9AM - 6PM (daily) from Dubai Mall.

Recommendations and Tips for visiting Dubai Mall

Tips for visiting Dubai Mall:

- Free things to do in Dubai Mall:

• Window shop through the primo shops on "fashion ave"

• Look at the 155 million year old Dino display in the Souk area of Dubai Mall

• See the Dubai Fountain water show on the BK Lake and look up to catch a view of the Burj Khalifa (good pic op)

• Be awed by the huge aquarium display which can be seen from the Dubai Mall walkways

• Take a picture in front of the waterfall which runs through all 4 levels of the Dubai Mall with full-sized fiberglass sculptures of divers.

- Highly recommend going to the bottom level Carrefour Department store for snacks and souvenirs like chocolate-dipped dates. 
  They also sell Dubai hats and t-shirts at reasonable prices.

- Plan to spend a few hours in the Dubai Mall and all its attractions especially during extra hot days.
