Recommendation | Tips for visiting Epcot in Orlando - • Take a Pic/Photo of your Parking Lane name and number if you park a car at Epcot to avoid frantic search at the end of the day as the parking lot is huge with 11,000+ parking spots, and it is very common to forget the location after a long day inside Epcot Park at Disney. • Bring a plastic refillable Water bottle, so save money on buying a new bottle each time. You can refill water and ice at filling stations or any of the restaurants. • Bring snacks like fruit, nuts, and chips to save money at Theme parks in Disney Orlando. • Download MyDisney Experience App on your mobile phone and link it to your Disney Epcot (Ticket) Entrance Card or Magic Wrist band (only need one account and you can enter/link each person in your party to that one account), then immediately signup for FastPass for popular rides or attractions at Epcot. You will get 3 FastPass per day per park for each registered person on the MyDisney Experience App. If you pick-up your ticket (Entrance Card or Magic band) in advance, you can book Fastpass 3 days in advance. While booking FastPass for a ride, keep in mind where you will be at that time of the day in the park. • Make sure to visit Club cool by the fountains to try complimentary samples of colo cola drinks around the world. • All rides at Epcot are indoors, so they don't stop when rain or thunderstorms comes in the afternoon. • Epcot has single rider lines, which have a shorter wait time and moves faster than standby lines, and doesn't need a fast pass. Save time by riding a single rider line if you don't mind sitting next to strangers. • Visit all the attractions and rides at Futureworld first and then visit the World showcase plaza rather than going back and forth to save walking. • Epcot World showcase area is geared more towards adults and does not have any rides (except boat that crosses the lagoon), so plan accordingly if you have kids with you. • At the end of the night before closing, Fireworks in water is the highlight of the Epcot visit, so plan to spend the evening in World Showcase Plaza. Fastpass is also available for the Fireworks viewing area. |
