- Botanic Gardens in Singapore will take at least 4 hours or more depending on your interest.

- Make sure to visit the National Orchid Garden which is located inside Botanic Gardens. 

  If you have limited time then just go visit only National Orchid Garden which is treat in itself inside this botanical garden.

- Good idea to combine with the Orchard Road.  Save Orchard Road for the late afternoon or evening.

- Wear really good shoes, the gardens are large and will require lots of walking.  Don't forget to bring an umbrella!

- Wear sunscreen if you plan to explore outside.  Insect repellent is recommended for children to prevent insect bites and skin irritation.

- Bring water and snacks!  Good place for a picnic.

- Enter at the Nassim Gate Visitor Centre for the Central Core of the Gardens which is the closest gate to National Orchid Garden if you are taking a taxi.
