The Ontario Science Centre is a science museum with a vision to Inspire a lifelong journey of curiosity, discovery, and action to create a better future for the planet.

The Ontario Science Centre in Toronto has hundreds of interactive exhibits for all ages.

You will find exhibits featuring geology, nature, astronomical science, music, technology, human anatomy, communication and bias, and other artifacts of science.

There is also the IMAX Dome theatre for an additional fee at the Science Center.

Some exhibitions at this science museum include:

• KidSpark, a space for children eight and under.  

• The Space Hall planetarium

• The Human Edge: more than 80 exhibits on how the human body works

• The Science of Rock 'N' Roll: eight areas with different interactive displays, historical artifacts, informational walls, and documentary videos

Getting to the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto

The best way to get to the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto is by TTC Subway + Bus Combo or by Car or Taxi.

By TTC subway + Bus to Ontario Science Centre in Toronto:

- Take the TTC Yonge subway line north

- Exit at Eglinton Station
  (Note:  Make sure to pick up free paper transfer for the bus at Subway station from the red transfer machines)

- Transfer to the Eglinton East (route 34) bus.   

- Exit Bus at Don Mills Road stop

- Walk to the Science Centre

Or

- Take the TTC Bloor-Danforth subway line east

- Exit at Pape Station
  (Note:  Make sure to pick up free paper transfer for the bus at Subway station from the red transfer machines)

- Transfer to the Don Mills (route 25) bus

- Exit at St. Dennis Drive (in front of the Science Centre)

  Based on our experience, if you are visiting multiple attractions in Toronto then CityPass is a really good deal.

- This is a good activity center for kids.  

  Note:  bring drinks,  lunch, or snacks with you. 

  They have a cafeteria but not much else inside or around the science center.

- Pickup Ontario Science Centre map as you enter to optimize your time in case you have limited time.
