Take the Canada Line Train (SkyTrain) from Vancouver Airport to Downtown Vancouver : Go to the Canada Line YVR Airport station to get from Vancouver Airport to downtown Vancouver in 25-30 minutes by Rapid Rail Train. Directions to Canada line YVR Airport (Skytrain) station are clearly marked in the arrival hall at Vancouver Airport. Elevators are also available. Get to your Vancouver Downtown Station by Skytrain and take a taxi or walk to your destination in Vancouver Downtown. You can also transfer to other Rapid Rail SkyTrain/Translink lines serving Greater Vancouver Area to reach your destination in the Suburb. YVR Airport Skytrain is generally the fastest and most economical choice. Taxi at Vancouver Airport : A taxicab between Vancouver Airport and the downtown is about $40-$50 (CAD). You will find taxi/cab lines outside in the designated areas outside the Arrival Hall at YVR Airport. Follow the Taxi/ Cab signs from the Arrival Hall at Vancouver Airport. Car Rental at Vancouver Airport : Many car rental companies at the YVR airport do your research before leaving home and making a reservation online. If you rent your vehicle, expect the driving time into downtown Vancouver to be about 30 minutes- 1 hour, depending on traffic. Generally, you will have to pay for parking in the downtown area and return the car with a full tank of gasoline. Note: Depending on your budget, you can also hire a limousine, taxi, or hotel shuttle bus from Airport to your hotel.
